Robin is timid, although she is trying to be more assertive. If you are a fan of Dannika Dark and her different series set in the same verse, you will know exactly what I mean. I loved the familiarity of the world, but enjoyed the uniqueness of the heroine and our demon. The tale that unfolds was insanely addictive. Robin doesn’t practice magic, neither did her parents… but there is so much Robin doesn’t know. While looking for it she discovers her Uncle is summoning demons. However, she is more interested in a family heirloom. Her Uncle is the executor of her late parent’ will and hasn’t released their things to her including funds. She moved into her uncle’s home with his wife, stepson and daughter. Robin Page, recently lost both of her parents. Hell’s bells either way you will love it! the basics… If you have read it, you’ll be happy to know this is fresh and unique. There is some character crossover interaction but you could theoretical begin here.

This is a spinoff series to the Guild Codex: Spellbound series and set in the same world. Did I mention I lost an entire night’s sleep listening to this? Well, I did.

You'll have to decide which of the three is best in the world.Taming Demons for Beginners by Annette Marie is the first audiobook in the Guild Codex: Demonized series and narrated by Cris Dukehart.

If you're already IN LOVE with the other books in this world, then you'll enjoy this enough to complete it. I've said this before, but why is there such a high quantity of orphan characters with parents dying or abandoning them.

But, just because its basic doesnt mean it isnt good. You can probably pick the character dynamics out of a Character 101 textbook. The lead character is a bit more likable than Tori for me. Yes, I know what happens at the end but everything else falls into one of these other categories. However, I'm still not sure why "warping" is so different from illusions or hallucinations. The story has with action and a good flow for introducing characters. This series gives us a glimpse into the magic police agency. Between the GuildCodex, Demonized, and now the Warped series, we will be reading one of her books every month for the next year.
